Oblin Rechtsanwälte Attends the 2025 Primerus PBLI International Summit in Atlanta
May 1 – May 3, 2025 | Atlanta, Georgia
The theme of this year’s Summit, “Bridging Borders: Legal Strategies to Grow Your Global Business,” centered on the increasingly critical role of legal strategy in supporting international expansion. Sessions explored a range of timely topics, including cybersecurity, geopolitical risk, supply chain compliance, and AI regulation.
We were pleased to have Senior Counsel, Klaus Oblin, represent our firm as a speaker on the panel “Global Litigation Funding: Enhancing Legal Strategies Across Borders.” This session examined how third-party funding is evolving globally, and how it can be leveraged as a strategic tool for managing cross-border disputes, mitigating financial risk, and increasing access to justice.
Other highlights from the Summit included:
An in-depth exploration of the current cyber landscape, legal industry trends, and cybersecurity best practices, led by Ankur Sheth (Ankura).
A discussion on understanding geopolitical trends, assessing and managing business risks, and the evolving role of lawyers within legal frameworks and compliance—featuring case studies and best practices.
A session on supply chain compliance, covering regulatory frameworks across the EU, U.S., and APAC regions.
A roundtable on global AI legal update, exploring recent cases and regulatory trends affecting automation and emerging tech.
In addition to the educational programming, we enjoyed networking receptions, collaborative meals, and a group outing to an Atlanta Braves game — all of which fostered stronger relationships within the Primerus international community.
We’d like to sincerely thank the organizers and sponsors for hosting such a dynamic and well-organized event. It was a pleasure to engage with fellow members from around the world, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for collaboration. We're grateful to be part of such a forward-thinking community—and we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
